Stroller obsessed-- Bumbleride Indie

I have three different strollers. A jogging stroller, a light weight stroller, and a travel system. I also have an obsession with finding the perfect stroller. Like a huge obsession! I catch myself literally staring at people's strollers hoping to find one that meets all (or most) of our needs.

Let me start by breaking down my current favorite. The good the bad and ugly.

Our Bumbleride jogging/all terrain stroller- http://www.bumbleride.com/strollers/indie-home.php

The pro's-

It's pretty. I love their color selections.
It is light weight (for a jogging stroller)
It reclines to a flat position. (Nice for infants and if you have a sleepy little.)
The front wheel can either swivel or lock.
Their is a foot rest that is adjustable adding to the flat laying position.
The handle is adjustable so it works with many heights.
The canopy is actual big enough!!! (That is a big deal to me)
There is a zipper pocket in the back for your phone or other items.
It can be push around with one hand. (This is also a big deal for me because our Alex likes to be held in busy areas and there is nothing worse than trying to hold a kid and push a difficult stroller.)
There is an attachment that can be purchased for an infant carseat. (Making the only pro to my travel system the cup holders.)
There is a riding board available for purchase if you have an older toddler and an infant. (This is nice if you don't always need a double, or if your older kiddo doesn't want to ride.)

The con's-

There is no place for a parent drink. (I solved this using an after market parent console)

Then they came out with this one http://www.amazon.com/Bumbleride-Parent-Pack/dp/B008PUQE2A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1377117372&sr=8-1&keywords=Parent+pack+Bumbleride
There isn't a child's console included but you can purchase one later. (Why not just include it?)

It is a little awkward to get in a car and takes up a lot of space in the back of our van.

In conclusion if your looking for a jogger/versatile stroller this is a really good one. But keep in mind that there are a few things to add on to it to make it truly functional.

Why I'm posting..

As a first time mom there are a ton of purchases I wish I had done differently. Even after doing a ton of research on my large (and small) purchases there are a lot of things I wish I had know. At every baby shower I've been to I catch myself spewing information at an already overwhelmed pregnant lady. "What if I wrote it all down and gave it to them" I thought. Then it occurred to me that other mommies/soon-to-be mommies might be interested in my opinion so i decided to blog it.

Let me start out by saying we are a middle income family and I don't mind spending money on items that are going to last a long time or make life easier. Also, we have a very strong willed 2 year old that I love more than life itself. I appreciate feedback, but please keep in mind these are my opinions and findings. I try to take an unemotional stand on most things and I try to break things down simply. I hope you find some helpful information here.
